Usage Scenario 1.0: Avatar Selection

Use Case id: 1.1.0

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The user can select an avatar available inside the VR environment and replace the active current one.

Pre-Conditions:

  1. The avatar section has successfully loaded all available avatars.

Task Sequence:

In the center column of the UI, resides the avatar section. In order to change it the user can:

  • Click on an available avatar to the right of the active one.

Usage Scenario 1.1: Avatar Show/Hide

Use Case id: 1.1.1

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The user can show hide the avatar that is spawned in the middle of the room.

Pre-Conditions:

None.

Task Sequence:

In the middle column of the UI section at the bottom there is an eye icon. By pressing on this icon, the user can enable or disable the visibility of the avatar.


Usage Scenario 2.0: Garment Selection

Use Case id: 1.2.0

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The user can shift through the garments offered inside the VR environment, and select one in order to fit it on the avatar that is loaded in the center of the environment.

Pre-Conditions:

  1. An avatar has been selected.
  2. The garments have been loaded successfully on garment section.

Task Sequence:

While inside the VR environment, the user can browse through all the different garments/clothes available, that are presented to him in the middle UI column in the garments section.

By selecting a garment, it is fitted on the avatar that is located in the center of the room.


Usage Scenario 3.0: Animation selection - playback

Use Case id: 1.3.0

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The user can shift through available character animations, play / pause them and change the speed of the animation.

Pre-Conditions:

  1. An avatar has been selected.
  2. A garment has been selected.
  3. The animations have been loaded successfully on the animations section.

Task Sequence:

While inside the VR environment, the user can see the available animations in the bottom section of the middle UI column.

By clicking on an animation, it is applied to the active avatar in the center of the room.

By clicking on the play / pause icon located to the section below, the user can start or pause the selected animation sequence.

There is a slider next to the play / pause icon that controls the animation speed. The user can use it to make the animation speed faster or slower.


Usage Scenario 4.0: Get Garment Popularity Score (Trend Detection)

Use Case id: 1.4.0

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The Designer can get the Garment Popularity score for each garment that they select.

Pre-Conditions:

  1. User has to select a Demographic option.
  2. User has to select an active garment.

Task Sequence:

In the left UI Column there is the Demographic section. Users must select a demographic group, for which they wish to get the popularity score for each garment they subsequently select.

The user selects a garment.

The Popularity score is fetched from an for the selected demographic option and garment and is shown as a label under the ‘Score’ section.


Usage Scenario 5.0: Save / Load a collection

Use Case id: 1.5.0

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The user can save / load a collection of garments.

Pre-Conditions:

  1. Populate the Favorites section with at least one avatar / garment / animation combination.

Task Sequence:

In the right column of the UI resides the Favorites section. There the user can add or remove the current combination of avatar / garment / animation by clicking on the plus / minus sign icon buttons. When a combination is added, a dressed avatar preview image is shown on the Favorites section. The X button clears all Favorites from this section.

When a user is satisfied with the saved collection, can click on the SAVE button to export the selection into a file.

Subsequently by clicking on the LOAD button the user can import a collection from a file.


Usage Scenario 6.0: Exit the application

Use Case id: 1.6.0

Primary Actor: Designer

Description

The user can safely exit the VR application by clicking on a button.

Pre-Conditions:

None.

Task Sequence:

The user can click on the icon button that resembles a Door, located in the bottom middle of the UI in order to exit the application.
